Pre-College Reading from Slate.com

Everyone needs a good book for the beach

For no particular reason today I’m pointing out an article on Slate.com featuring their own pre-college reading list.  You, of course, are busy reading Half the Sky, but just in case you’ve already finished or are look for the perfect prop for your photo in Hot Guys Reading Books, check out their suggestions.

I am actually fairly impressed with this list.  Ignore the first suggestion about how to brew your own beer (whoever had the spare time to do that must have gone to a state school), but do consider one of the life changing books of my life The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, by Thomas S. Kuhn.
